LTL Trucking With Lift Gate Service
"LTL" is a trucker talk for Less Than (full) Load and LTL service is the primary method through which most small orders are shipped. When a buyer needs materials of about 10 to 12 tons or less that are bagged, boxed, crated or bulk load on pallets those loads usually are shipped LTL.
We work with freight brokers who are sourcing the best rates and services from LTL trucking companies throughout the USA and Canada to get you the best rate for your order.

Loads are offered upon cargo bidding platform and the lowest best offer to haul the cargo from a major carrier is presented to the customer. Costs of shipping are determined by:
Distance from the location of cargo to the delivery location.
Residential delivery location, or
Commercial delivery location
Is there a forklift to unload the cargo or is a liftgate needed?
Size of cargo, Weight of cargo, and other factors

LTL shipping is about $100 to $150 cheaper per order when a liftgate is not needed. Most delivery locations do not have forklifts or loading docks to unload the materials so a lift gate is needed.

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand and basic sizes.

Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10 Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.
